The cylinder liner is a cylindrical component installed within the engine block to provide the internal surface upon which the piston travels during its reciprocating motion. This part ensures proper alignment and sealing within the combustion chamber to maintain engine performance.
This component is compatible with DAF 105 engines. The actual manufacturer for this specific part is MAGRUMAPE.
Cylinder liners serve as the primary contact surface for piston rings, facilitating the containment of combustion gases and the transfer of heat from the piston to the engine cooling system. By providing a renewable surface, liners allow for the restoration of engine tolerances without requiring the replacement of the entire engine block.
