Cylinder liner for DAF D/D S575

The cylinder liner serves as the internal sleeve within the engine block of the DAF D/D S575. It provides a defined surface for the piston to move against during the combustion cycle. By housing the piston and its rings, the liner helps maintain the necessary compression levels required for the engine to operate effectively. It also facilitates the transfer of heat from the combustion chamber to the engine cooling system.

This component is compatible with the DAF D/D S575 engine model. It is manufactured by DAF. Cylinder liners are critical for maintaining the internal geometry of the engine block, ensuring that the piston rings maintain a proper seal against the cylinder wall. This configuration prevents blow-by and helps manage oil consumption within the engine assembly.
