The brake caliper service kit, identified by part number 6193749M91, provides the necessary components for the maintenance and repair of the rear axle brake caliper on the Terex TX760B backhoe loader. This kit includes the parts required to restore the caliper assembly, which houses the brake pads and manages the pressure applied to the brake discs to control machine movement.
This specific kit is compatible with the Terex TX760B model. It addresses the wear associated with the brake caliper assembly, including internal seals, bushings, and cam mechanism components, ensuring the braking system functions as intended during operation.
Brake calipers are essential components in heavy machinery braking systems. They convert hydraulic pressure into mechanical force, pushing the brake pads against the rotor to slow or stop the machine. Regular maintenance of these assemblies is necessary to ensure consistent braking performance and to address the wear that occurs during frequent operation in construction and earthmoving environments.
