Cigarette lighter for Terex TX760B

The cigarette lighter, part number 3517053M91, is a component installed within the switch assembly on the side console of the Terex TX760B backhoe loader. While historically used for heating, this 12V electrical receptacle functions primarily as an auxiliary power source in modern heavy machinery. It enables operators to connect and power essential electronic equipment, such as mobile devices, radios, and GPS units, directly from the machine electrical system.

This component is compatible with the Terex TX760B model. It is manufactured by Terex to ensure proper electrical integration within the cab environment. The unit provides a stable connection point for standard 12V accessories, supporting the operational needs of the equipment cabin.

In heavy machinery, auxiliary power outlets of this type are integrated into the electrical harness to provide a convenient interface for low-voltage devices. They are typically protected by the machine fuse panel to prevent circuit overloads, ensuring that the power supply remains consistent for auxiliary tools and communication hardware used during daily site operations.
